This wonder of nature deserves respect..and ofcourse some adulation!!

No, these wonderful bridges aren’t a movie set– they’re part of a real limestone cave located in Lebanon. The Baatara Gorge Waterfall, or “Three Bridge Chasm,”  was carved out of ancient limestone over millions of years by winter meltwater!  The waterfall is fed by snow meltwater from Mount Lebanon and makes for a breathless spectacle!

What is most interesting to know is that the water from the chasm emerges from underground at a spring in the nearby town of Mgharet al-Ghaouaghir. Visitors are discouraged to stand on the bridges or go too close to the edges. Well, the beauty of the waterfall is as pristine from a distance as it is from a close distance, anyway!
