Do zoo animals need to be kept behind bars? A matter to think about!

Here’s a look at some of the most depressing and sad pictures of zoo animals. Clicked by German photographer Elias Hassos, these images depict the boredom that zoo animals have to face in their life behind bars.  For many years now, we have imprisoned animals in cages for our entertainment but nowadays, a general sense of compassion is rising among people.

These photos force us to think whether these animals really deserve the ‘life imprisonment’ or do they, like the free ones deserve to enjoy their natural habitats.  Zoo directors in Germany have started a modern reform of zoos called “Zoos of the Future.” These modern zoos have more space for each animal, and environment that is much like animals’ natural habitats.
